Youth Leadership Camp
The Independent Living Skills curriculum, compiled by Project LIFE, is designed to help young people learn, strengthen, and support the essential life skills needed to successfully transition into adulthood.
This program focuses on building confidence, responsibility, and independence by providing practical guidance and real-world skills that prepare youth for everyday life. Participants gain knowledge and experience in areas that promote personal growth, decision-making, self-sufficiency, and long-term success.
Topics may include:
• Financial literacy and budgeting
• Employment readiness and career exploration
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Goal setting and decision-making
• Housing and daily living responsibilities
• Health, wellness, and self-care
• Time management and organization
• Community involvement and leadership
The goal of the program is to empower young people with the tools, resources, and support needed to become confident, capable, and independent adults.
