CACFP Participant Creates a Friendship Garden
Brenda Hinkle, a home childcare provider in Unionville, MO who participates in our Food Program, created a beautiful “Friendship Garden” with the children in her care. The kids planted flowers and even helped set up a mailbox seed library, where parents and neighbors can take or leave flower seeds. It’s a wonderful example of how small, local efforts can grow connection, learning, and a sense of community - right from the ground up. How fun!
