CAPNEMO Remembers Elaine West
Earlier this month, we learned of the passing of Elaine West, who once served as a leader for CAPNEMO, guiding our agency through a difficult time and leaving a lasting mark on our work. Her dedication to public service and to the mission of Community Action reached far beyond our local communities. Later in her career, Elaine went on to strengthen the statewide network and help elevate Missouri’s role in the national Community Action movement.
We remain deeply grateful for her vision, her service, and her lifelong commitment to supporting families and communities. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all who were touched by her extraordinary work.
