Scotland Co. Students Participate in PhotoVOICE
As part of the PhotoVoice project, students at Scotland County Elementary have been exploring ways to create positive change in their community. Putting their lessons into action, the students organized a school-wide food drive to benefit the Scotland County Food Pantry.
To encourage participation, they introduced a fun incentive—students who brought in canned or boxed food items were allowed to wear hats at school. Their efforts paid off, resulting in the collection of around 20 food items for local families in need.
