Community Partnership Fund
The Community Partnership Fund through the Community Action Partnership of Northeast Missouri (CAPNEMO) was established to provide financial support to groups, organizations, and businesses serving low-income populations throughout Adair, Clark, Knox, Schuyler, and Scotland Counties.
We hope that this funding will strengthen community partnerships and support sustainable, healthy communities by addressing critical local needs.
To be considered for funding, applicants must:
• Serve a population that is at least 50% low-income
• Address a critical community need
• Be located within Adair, Clark, Knox, Schuyler, or Scotland Counties
• Use funds to directly serve clients and participants (not for capital improvements, salaries, or similar expenses)
Preference may be given to applicants who demonstrate:
• Significant impact within the community
• Long-term sustainability beyond the awarded funding
• Services outside CAPNEMO’s existing scope of services
To avoid duplication of services, Community Partnership Fund dollars cannot be used for programs providing the same services as CAPNEMO. CAPNEMO receives specific federal funding for:
• Utility Assistance
• Emergency Housing
• Weatherization
Any individuals seeking these services should be referred directly to CAPNEMO.
TO APPLY:
Community Partnership Funding is available four times per year. Qualified organizations within CAPNEMO’s five-county service area are encouraged to apply. Funding is capped at $1,000 per quarter, and applicants are encouraged to request only the amount necessary to maximize community impact.

This program is funded 100% at $4,000 with federal funds received from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Community Services Block Grant, as provided by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division.
