CAPNEMO HS Staff and Partner Recognized for Excellence through MO-SECA Program
Today marked a significant milestone for two of CAPNEMO’s Family Advocate/Center Supervisors, Deniece Moore from Jamison Street Head Start and Crystal Bass from Pfeiffer Early Head Start, along with Andrea Orwig, owner of Bright Beginnings, one of CAPNEMO’s partner sites. These dedicated leaders were recognized for their outstanding achievements through the Missouri Supporting Early Childhood Administrators (MO-SECA) program.
The MO-SECA program equips early childhood administrators across Missouri with the knowledge, skills, and connections necessary to effectively lead high-quality programs. Over the past 18 months, Crystal, Deniece, and Andrea have immersed themselves in this comprehensive program, attending multiple trainings and participating in several one-on-one coaching sessions. In recognition of their hard work, they have earned valuable clock hours, developed meaningful relationships with providers across the state, and built lasting connections within the early childhood education community.
“We are incredibly proud of Crystal, Deniece, and Andrea for their dedication to enhancing their leadership skills and for the unwavering commitment they bring to CAPNEMO and the families we serve,” said Kailey Wheeler who is apart of the Head Start Leadership Staff for CAPNEMO. "Their achievements through MO-SECA are a testament to their passion for providing high-quality early childhood education."
Their participation in the MO-SECA program not only strengthens their ability to lead but also positively impacts the programs they manage, ensuring the children and families of northeast Missouri receive the best possible care and support.
This recognition highlights the importance of ongoing professional development in early childhood education and underscores CAPNEMO’s dedication to fostering excellence in the programs it oversees.
